(Varsity) Midstates is generally known as one of the tougher tournaments in collegiate bowling. This year, there were 21 total Varsity teams. The University of Kansas Varsity Team placed 6th this year. (Junior Varsity) This was the Junior Varsity team's first tournament of the year. There was a total of 14 teams. This year, the Junior Varsity team placed 13th after a rough last 4 games of baker format. |

The University of Kansas Bowling Team traveled to Illinois this weekend. Throughout the whole tournament, good shots were being made but we could not seem to put strikes together. This called for a 12th Place Finish. |

-The Kansas University men's club bowling team placed fifth out of 15 teams at the two-day Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge in Lawrence last weekend. -The tournament included one day of individual games and one day of Baker (alternating-bowler) games. The Jayhawks' 11,675 combined pins put them only behind Midland (12,489 pins), Lindenwood (12,310), Wichita State (12,160) and Newman (11,980). |

The Kansas University men's club bowling team placed fifth out of 38 teams over the weekend at the Leatherneck Classic in Moline, Ill. The tournament included six individual games on Day 1 and 16 Baker (alternating-bowler) games on Day 2. The top eight Baker teams went on to a best two-out-of-three, match-play format on Sunday, and KU lost in its opening Baker match to Vincennes, 205-179, 203-203, 225-184. KU's best highlight came on Day 1, when the five-man team of Nick Binetti (210), Tyler Woods (236), Ryan Miller (269), Jessy Bauer (256) and Dylan Burns (257) combined for a team score of 1,228. Varsity Results: There was a total of 32 men's Varsity teams. Some of the top schools such as Wichita, McKendree, Robert Morris, and Lindenwood were in attendance. Of these 32 teams, the University of Kansas held on to another top 10 finish and placed 8th.
Junior Varsity Results: There was a total of 7 men's Junior Varsity teams. The University of Kansas JV team placed last, but they are steadily improving. They were only behind 6th place by 24 pins. Varsity Results: There was a total of 33 teams at the Las Vegas Invitational, the University of Kansas men finished 11th place averaging 195.8 as a team. |

Backhaul Direct HoosierThis tournament is known to be the toughest collegiate tournament around as of now. Unfortunately, the Hoosier got under the skin of the Kansas Jayhawks as they placed 43rd out of 78 teams.
